4 feet X 3 feet - acrylics on wood
This is a chest-of-drawers that used to belong to my daughter when she was a little girl. I found that my grandparents had it stored after my Grandmother passed away several years ago. When my daughter became pregnant both she and my wife had almost simultaneous dreams of a hummingbird that heralded my granddaughter's conception.
After my granddaughter was born my daughter needed a place to store all the diapers, and baby clothing so I re-finished her old dresser and painting these hummingbirds on the face.
My granddaughter likes it a lot and my daughter is also nostalgically connected to it. I hope you like it as well.

This is wonderful, I like the nostalgic feeling it holds. My Great grandfather had a hummingbird he said was for securing the love in his marriage to my gr4eat grandmother, don't know if its true but they were married for life...funny how people accept things as facts but well it was their thinking I guess. (knocking on wood etc.)
