The Abominable Mr Sa

This is the second in the series of monochromatic works related to my hospital experience. The subject character, Mr. Sa didn't actually show up until after my release from the hospital, but he was responsible for making me feel far worse than the original accident.

His name is a play on letters (MRSA) and you can see his virulence by the holes the bacteria has eaten through his body and the swelling evident in his stomach. He gladly shares the spores which spread his infection. I chose the color because it was fairly close to the color of the open wounds which the bacteria inhabited.

This painting seems somehow unfinished to me (perhaps because I was too close to the subject) so any comments or criticisms are welcome.
